’Stand firm then… with the breastplate of righteousness in place…’. Not your self-righteousness, which is a useless protection in the spiritual war, but put on Christ’s perfect righteousness, given to you, as a spotless covering, and a secure foundation, upon which you can stand firm and live a life empowered by the Spirit that pleases Jesus, silences Satan, and brings glory to God.
