Religion versus Jesus - Colossians 2:16-23

Paul warns the Colossian believers about three dangers that would seek to divert their hope away from Christ and back onto their own works and performance. He warns the believers not to let the religious judge them, the mystics disqualify them, or the legalists enslave them, but encourages them to continue to root their confidence in Christ.

From Series: "Colossians - All about JESUS!"

Paul's letter written to a church 2000 years ago is universal and timeless and is relevant for every generation, in every context, facing any circumstance; it’s a message of the unchanging supremacy and sufficiency of Christ, and the unshakable security and hope that is found only in Him. This is a message that we still desperately need to hear today.
