Into the bleak picture of our sin and shame Jesus goes to the cross and pays the debt that was stacked up against us so we can be forgiven all of it. This is the good news but unfortunately we still often respond to sin in our lives by either beating ourselves up or trying to clean ourselves up, when what we need to do is keep standing on the truth of the gospel.

Paul's letter written to a church 2000 years ago is universal and timeless and is relevant for every generation, in every context, facing any circumstance; it’s a message of the unchanging supremacy and sufficiency of Christ, and the unshakable security and hope that is found only in Him.
