Gender, Sexuality & The Gospel - Part 2
In the second part of our Gender, Sexuality and the Gospel course we attempt to answer various questions and objections to the view that same-sex relationships are sinful and prohibited. We then consider what it means to truly love people well whilst not abandoning our convictions and what kind of church we need to be.

This is a really important topic, that we need to get to grips with as the church. We can’t avoid it, like it or not, it’s the world we live in so we have to know what we believe and learn how to respond in the right way. On the one hand we need to understand the issue theologically and ensure that our response is in line with biblical truth. On the other hand we also need to understand the issue pastorally and ensure that our response is in line with biblical love. And we need to do both of these things well, why? because this is about people, it could be people we know, it could be people in our families, this church, our friends, our colleagues, our community, real people who need real love. And so we owe it to them to be clear and compassionate, to be truthfully loving and lovingly truthful.
