The Bridge Church, together with Chepstow Churches Together, run and support the Chepstow & District Christians Against Poverty (CAP) Debt Centre.

Christians Against Poverty (https://capuk.org/about-us/the-cap-story) is a Christian charity serving people trapped by debt or with other money worries across the UK. It was set up in 1996 by John Kirkby, inspired by his faith in Jesus Christ and his first-hand experience of struggling with debt. CAP work in partnership with local churches, including our church, to run Debt Centres, Life Skills, Money Management courses (click here to find out more about these and when the next one is running: https://capuk.org/get-help/money-coaching) and more.

CAP is one of the UK’s leading debt-help services, and it is available FREE to absolutely anyone. Since CAP started helping people out of debt in 1996, they have helped thousands through a professional service offered by over 300 CAP Debt Centres, just like the one we run.
